Discover great ingredients from Saskatchewan in the workshop "Introduction to agricultural and food ingredients from Saskatchewan (Canada)"

On February 18, 2025, 2D&ONE Co., Ltd. was honored to accompany the Government of Saskatchewan Province - Canada in organizing a seminar on promoting international agricultural trade at Hanoi College of Tourism. This is a clear demonstration of 2D&ONE's role in connecting international associations, agricultural import and distribution businesses, as well as supporting the expansion of global markets.

Saskatchewan - the fertile land of Canada - has long been famous in the world for its high-quality agricultural ingredients such as dried beans, oats, wild rice, and many other valuable products. With special climate and soil conditions, the products here meet the strictest standards of food safety and nutrition.

Highlights of the seminar:

Live culinary demonstration with Chef Tran Le Thanh Thien, introducing how to apply Saskatchewan ingredients to Vietnamese cuisine, some of the main Saskatchewan ingredients used are:
- Chickpeas, lentils, peas - rich in protein and fiber, suitable for everything from salads to stews.
- Oats - ideal ingredients for breakfast and desserts.
- Berry powder - retains natural nutrition, flavor and color.
- Wild black rice - rich in protein, vitamins, minerals, good for digestion.
Exchange & learn with representatives of the Saskatchewan Government and the Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam.

The event not only helps Vietnamese chefs, restaurants and businesses better understand the value of imported ingredients from Saskatchewan, but also opens up opportunities for bilateral trade cooperation, towards sustainable development in the international agricultural and food industry.
